Our target is to install 1 million
vehicle charging points throughout the
United Kingdom by 2015.
We aim to provide and fit these devices for less than £500 each.
The £500m programme will kick start the demand for electric and
plug-in hybrid cars. As this grows, millions more points will
be required.

Electric and plug-in hybrid
cars are not only essential to help combat climate change and
cut emissions; we believe that reducing the UK's demand
for oil is a crucial step to improving national security
and economic prosperity.

 Our
solution
It is the classic question -
"Which came first, the chicken or the egg?"
Without the widespread availability of charging points, demand
for electric and plug-in hybrid cars will never take off.
Yet,
if there are virtually no electric cars or plug-in hybrids on
the
streets, why "waste" money installing charging points that may
not be used?
We believe that Government both local and national must break
this conundrum by installing charging points first. We also want
to encourage private installation in car parks and developments.
Our aim is to help by supplying and installing the charging points
as economically as possible.
We believe that this can be
achieved if we make use of existing infrastructure, off-the-shelf solutions and plug-in friendly regulation.
